Successful export requires far more than placing good fruit in a carton. It requires controlled receiving, inspection, de-sapping, washing, treatment, grading, packing, pre-cooling, temperature management, traceability and documentation, completed within a tightly managed window.

Facilities do not need to provide every service internally. However, all subcontracted activities must be disclosed and traceable.
How it works

Register the facility
Provide details about your ownership, location, registrations, infrastructure, equipment, capacity and current export experience.

Capability review
Our team assesses the facility against the needs of relevant destination markets and planned supply programs.

Documentation and assessment
Shortlisted facilities may be asked to provide certificates, process flows, equipment records, photographs, sample documentation and access for an onsite or remote assessment.

Trial or corrective-action plan
Depending on readiness, the facility may proceed to a controlled packing trial or agree improvements required before qualification.
- 05
Program approval
Approval, where granted, will be limited to the agreed product, process, season, destination, capacity and operating conditions.
